About CATS New Version and Hybrid Classes

IKU CATS (LMS&CLE) Learning Management System & Collaboration and Learning Environment has been made ready for the Fall 2021 semester with the new version V3.02.

In the light of the feedback we received, with the V3.02 version

• New lesson recording video application,
• Quick management of presentation files,
• Instant connection status reporting,
• Development of question and voting features for synchronous lessons,
• Student-based whiteboard authorization,
• Gamification (Giveaway App)
• Creation of parametric group study rooms,
• Innovations such as raising hands and detailed notifications have been added to the CATS Collaborate system.

Hybrid (Blended) Class
As of the new period, 66 classes will be used as hybrids and the equipment (Camera and Sound systems) in the hybrid classes will work integrated with CATS. You can find detailed information about the use of hybrid classes in the Hybrid Class Usage document.

Note: In terms of system optimization, the course video recordings of the 2020 semester have been archived, you can access the old video recordings with your unipass information at https://catsderskayit.iku.edu.tr/portal.
